Turn back your biolocical age

We don´t stop playing because we grow old. We grow old because we stop playing!

BioAge Test – Reverse Your Biological Age

With our BioAge test, we can determine your biological age based on a wide range of analysis values. Our partner laboratory in the USA uses a precise biochemical method to determine the methylation of your DNA and the theoretical length of your telomeres. Your DNA is then loaded onto a special chip and scanned to create a methylation profile.

Your personal methylation profile is compared with that of a cohort of the same age and gender. With the help of the result obtained, conclusions can be drawn about cell ageing and therefore your biological age, your epigenetic fitness and nutritional profile and other measurement parameters.

The result of the BioAge test shows your biological age compared to your chronological age.

Biological age

Slow aging. Fast aging.

If your biological age is lower than your chronological, it means that your body is ageing more slowly. Which is a positive sign for your health and longevity. If it is higher, it tells us that you should change your lifestyle. We know how!

Chronological vs.
biological age

Let’s first clarify the question: What does biological age actually mean? Your birthday determines your chronological age. It is simply based on the number of years that have passed since your birth. However, this chronological age does not necessarily say anything about your biological age. The calculation of your biological age is much more complex and reflects the condition of your cells, tissues and organism. It therefore shows how quickly or slowly your body is ageing, regardless of your chronological age.

You may have aged prematurely at the age of 50 or have a significantly younger biological age. It is your decision!

Turn back your biological clock

It turns out that our biological age can advance faster at any time, just as we can turn back our biological clock at any time. It depends on which factors influence our biology. And this is where it gets exciting. After all, what would be the point of knowing our biological age if there were no great ways to turn back the biological clock at the same time? Recent advances in science have put us in a position to measure your biological age – and to influence it.

Telomeres are like protective caps at the ends of the DNA strands known as chromosomes. They are made up of repeated sequences of DNA and serve to protect the chromosome ends from damage that can occur during cell division. Telomeres are like the protective caps on the ends of our shoelaces that prevent them from fraying.

Telomeres shorten with increasing age. Once the telomeres have reached a critically short length, the cell stops dividing and begins to age. This stage is known as cellular senescence. This means that it no longer functions properly and tends to exhibit defects and abnormalities.

Elizabeth Blackburn, Carol W. Greider and Jack W. Szostak were awarded the Nobel Prize in Medicine in 2009 for their discovery of telomerase, the enzyme that helps to lengthen telomeres. They also discovered that telomerase activity increases with a healthy diet and lifestyle.

Repeated intermittent hyperoxic exposures using certain hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) protocols can also induce regenerative effects on telomere length. Recent prospective studies show that repeated treatment with HBOT significantly increased telomere length by 20 % to 37 %. In addition, a demonstrable decrease in the number of senescent (aging) zombie cells was observed in this context.
